Our day in Lima was very low key. We arrived around 2am and didn’t get to sleep until sometime between 4 and 5am, so energy and motivation to get up early were in fairly low supply.
We had promised Cole we would visit a playground as soon as possible, so our first stop, after coffee, was Parque Kennedy. We played for awhile, then headed to Wong (a grocery store) for provisions. Cole was basically done by then so we went to the hotel and I picked up take out chifa (Peruvian Chinese food) while Ryan rocked Cole to sleep.
After nap time, we wandered down to Larcomar and ate dinner at a place that wasn’t here when we last visited, but promised various types of veggie burgers. Cole liked spinning the wheels on the skateboards decorating the walls. We hit up a second playground and then headed back to the hotel to sleep. Turns out Cole had other ideas (or is just struggling with the time difference) and we didn’t get to bed until 11pm or so. Oh well.
