The students took inspiration from photos GeGe had and put their own twist on them. We particularly like the pond with a shark in it (lower right hand corner).

We loved the texture the artists added to this llama using cotton balls.

This is the fifth in a series of posts this week to catch up on a few things we missed. When we didn’t have a camera, we got pretty lax about blogging, but there were a few interesting things happening. This week, before posting about Annette’s visit, we’ll highlight some of those events.

Over the summer, the older students created new murals to hang on the walls in the two playrooms. They turned out beautifully and the kids are really proud of them.

The inspiration for this mural was a picture of a German church from an old calendar. The kids put a Peruvian twist on it by adding the cacti with tuna (prickly pear) and the llamas in the corral.
