There are technically still 2 days of Christmas left (the Christmas season goes until January 6th, Los Reyes Magos, don’t you know…). Traveling and family time have taken precedent over blogging time, so here are five more days, in rapid succession. We hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and happy New Year.
…Christmas! We slept in a bit, opened sock presents, ate breakfast, Skyped with Ryan’s families back in the US, opened “big” presents, and had dinner at GeGe’s with Alejandro, Hilda, Yamile, GeGe and our whole group. Merry 12 days of Christmas to all and to all a good night!
Sock it to me! After working late in the night Christmas Eve. to prepare stockings for our respective (not-so) Secret Santa partners, Santa came and filled them. It’s hard to tell from this angle, but the one that Ryan made for Tom is clearly the best and most creative of all. He learned how to embroider (ever since the “T”).
What a spread. GeGe, Ryan, The Collinses and the Anderson clan took over one of the KATC classrooms for a delicious Christmas meal consisting of pollo a la brasa (rotiserie chicken), veggies and hummus, sour cream and cheese mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, beet salad and cranberry sauce.
